HISTORY OF M.T. LOONIES
The 'M' and 'T' in M.T. Loonies stands for Michelle and Trish the co-owners who started the bar in May 2003.	Michelle & Trish

The Loonies part of the bar name has two different reasons. The loon is a prevalent bird in Michigan, the home state of our Pub & Grub. Also, Michelle and Trish would spend time together at the bars in Windsor, Ontario where they paid loonies for their drinks. A "Loonie" is a Canadian $1 coin (see picture to the right).	Loon Loonie
